I will keep you informed of the progress. Incidentally, I think it makes sense that others also express their dissatisfaction towards PCloud Please inform the relevant team so that this is adjusted in the upcoming version. Make the startup procedure so that customers can choose whether or not to see the backup screen at startup. However, there are also customers who would rather not see this change. I can imagine that there are changes that customers want and certainly understand the change made. However your feedback was forwarded to the relevant team and we hope to be considered in future updates. For the time being, it cannot be stopped. Kindly note that this is expected and it is a change we made with our new version because many users wanted this change. I was not happy with the implemented change to and informed PCloud about this and received the following response: Thank you for contacting pCloud's Support. Been with pCloud for almost 6 years now too.Įdit 2: Link to all pCloud application releases for Windows (you can get v4.0.1 there): If I don't see a reversion of those 2 annoying patch notes in the next release ('The app will always start open' and 'Added notification when the app is minimized') or at least a toggle to disable them, I'm done with pCloud. I gotta say though, if pCloud is going to start pulling this crap, I'm done with them. I've always loved pCloud up until these annoyances started to appear.Įdit: I was able to uninstall the app, then reinstall v4.0.1 and the app now works like it did before without all these annoyances. Same for the new Windows notification every time you minimize the application. Please at least add a toggle to the settings screen to prevent launching the backup screen of the pCloud application at every single login.
